It's all about skill, tactics and survival. AI in this one is out for the kill, no bones about it.
Get better hardware early on by taking out a military outpost early in game. You start with next to nothing, need to think and act fast to put down Bandits and get their gear. Is a full free mod game, can be challenging for those not familiar to the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. At points the game also has a wicked sense of humour ? Tremendous immersion into the game world, immediately draws you in. Adds in a lot of the original concepts to SOC that the original dev's wanted to include, however ran out of time & money. Graphic's keep the original flavour, yet for a 15 year old game are impressive, even the trees sway in the wind. You want more of Shadow of Chernobyl? This is it, deeper more interlinking quests that don't feel like busy work.
